What are the signature elements in your designs?

By weaving the myth of the banana palm into his logo, he envisions his clothes as pieces of art. To him, the banana palm, known as the fruit of a lost paradise, blurs the lines between fantasy and reality. It reflects his enduring love for nature and its beauty, reminiscent of panoramic landscapes filled with flowers and birds, layers of broad palms, and lush jungle trees—the very essence of paradise.

Which collection are you most proud of, and why?

Our first collection, Phulertora, celebrates the floral beauty that surrounds us, capturing the delicate elegance of nature in each piece. It draws inspiration from the vibrant colors and intricate patterns found in flowers worldwide. Zehen, our bridal collection, highlights the exquisite and often overlooked artisanal craftsmanship that goes into each garment. This collection showcases unique techniques and designs, bringing a fresh perspective to bridal fashion.Nabz collection harmonizes tradition with innovation, offering a unique, passionate celebration of life. All the collections reflect our commitment to blending artistry with elegance, creating pieces that resonate with beauty and sophistication.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

Nature, in its countless forms, offers an endless wellspring of inspiration, embodying the perfect union of functionality and aesthetics. Our designs draws from the diverse art and craft traditions of India and the breathtaking beauty of the landscapes that surround us.

Which designer in the world inspires you?

Late Lee Alexander McQueen, his ability to make original designs that married artistry with exceptional technical ability has been a constant source of inspiration for me throughout my whole career.

Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.

Our debut couture collection made a spectacular entrance with a successful runway show in New Delhi. The collection garnered glowing reviews from all the leading fashion magazines in India. This success paved the way for the opening of our first store in November 2019 at the luxurious Ambawatta One in Mehrauli, New Delhi.
