If your designs could speak, what would they say?
Each design is a masterpiece designed for an occasion. It was just not created to attend a celebration but to celebrate creativity at its best. It is a work of art you can walk on and in.
What are the signature elements in your designs?
All our designs were created with the idea to be paired with Western and Indian clothing. We use artistic prints and hand-crafted embroidery showcasing the Indian craftsmanship on a western shoe silhouette.
Which collection are you most proud of, and why?
I love the casual collection we created post-pandemic. It is timeless and very creative with all the new techniques we have used, especially the introduction of our new cloud foam we introduced that season, which is now become our USP now.
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
I get inspiration from travel & architecture. Shoes are like miniature constructions on which your entire body weight rests.
Which designer in the world inspires you?
I created my first bridal shoe for Sabyasachi, so he is always been my inspiration. Then it would be Dior and I love the creative styles by Aquazzura.
Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.
When Kajol Mukerjee made a surpise visti to my Lakme Fashion Week show. That was a moment I will always remember.
