What are the signature elements in your designs?

Our signature elements are deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Jaipur, Rajasthan. Our designs stand out for their unique combination of hand block printing, Gota Patti work, exquisite embroidery, timeless silhouettes and celebration of local art & craftsmanship. The signature elements of 'Kameez by Pooja Kejriwal' are a reflection of our commitment to preserving tradition and embracing modernity.

At Kameez, we take immense pride in all our collections, but the Gota-patti collection holds a special place in our hearts. This collection embodies the essence of our brand's dedication to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Our Gota-Patti collection stands out for cultural heritage, exquisite craftsmanship and timeless elegance.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

Our inspiration for designs at Kameez comes from a deep connection to the rich cultural heritage and vibrant artistry of Jaipur and Rajasthan. The key sources of our inspiration are local art & craftsmanship, Rajasthan's natural beauty, cultural festivals & traditions, historical architecture and contemporary fashion trends. In essence, our inspiration is a blend of the past and the present, the traditional and the modern. By drawing from these diverse sources, we create designs that celebrate the heritage of Rajasthan while appealing to the contemporary sensibilities of our clients.

Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.

One of the most memorable "aha" moments in my design career was when I launched my very first collection. The anticipation and excitement were palpable as I poured my heart and soul into creating each piece. When the collection was finally unveiled, the response was overwhelmingly positive. The pieces resonated deeply with our audience, and to my immense joy, the entire collection sold out quickly. It was clear that people not only appreciated the beauty and quality of the designs but also connected with the cultural heritage and authenticity that each garment embodied. This success was more than just a commercial achievement; it was the spark that ignited my passion and confidence as a designer. This initial success laid the foundation for the journey of Kameez by Pooja Kejriwal, inspiring me to expand our collections and reach new heights in the fashion industry.
