Signature elements in my designs include a strong focus on sustainability, the incorporation of human touch, vibrant colors, the use of traditional crafts, and hand-woven fabrics.

Designing for Khadi was an incredibly thrilling challenge that brought me immense satisfaction. When the Khadi Board approached me with the opportunity to create designs for them, I felt a surge of enthusiasm and pride. The chance to work with such a historically and culturally significant fabric was both an honor and a responsibility. Embracing this project allowed me to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, resulting in designs that I am genuinely proud of. The entire process, from conceptualization to completion, was a journey filled with creativity, dedication, and a deep sense of fulfillment.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

I find inspiration for my designs in various places, including nature, art, architecture, and everyday life. Observing different cultures, exploring new places, and staying updated with current trends also play a significant role. Additionally, engaging with other designers and creative communities often sparks new ideas and perspectives.

Which designer in the world inspires you?

While I draw immense inspiration from nature and the late Maharani Gayatri Devi, in terms of design, these elements influence my aesthetic deeply. The natural world's beauty and resilience, along with Maharani Gayatri Devi's elegance and grace, shape my appreciation for designs that are timeless, balanced, and profoundly connected to their surroundings.

Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.

My aha moment came after a fashion show when the models, who had just showcased my designs on the runway, purchased my entire collection. It was a deeply gratifying and validating experience, to see my creations resonate so strongly with those who wore them.
