If your designs could speak, what would they say?

Our designs would whisper tales of comfort and style, entwined with the dreams of every bride as she takes each step towards her forever. We embody tradition with a contemporary twist, celebrating the joy of love.

What are the signature elements in your designs?

Anaar shoes are a storytelling of Indian craftsmanship & design- cutdana work, Dabka pitta work, and Zari detailing are some of our signature crafts. Our artisans are skilled in these traditional techniques, handcrafting each shoe - from hand-cutting crystals to embellishing the shoes with sequins, beads, and zari threads by hand.

Which collection are you most proud of, and why?

Our AW 23-24 collection CHAASNI is my favorite. It was our first wedding & festive sneaker collection. The collection was loved by so many brides, making our sneakers a part of their wedding nuptials.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

Our designs are an ode to rituals that survived generations and became our biggest inspiration. Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.

I often witnessed brides struggling with uncomfortable footwear, their discomfort evident in every cautious step. This sparked a determination to reimagine bridal footwear, not just as beautiful accessories but as comfortable companions throughout the wedding festivities. Drawing from my own experiences and observations, I embarked on a journey to marry style with comfort, infusing innovative designs with ergonomic features. Anaar's handcrafted sneakers are shapeshifters that not only offer the necessary support and cushioning for all-day wear but also feature a design that seamlessly complements bridal attire.
