Who Wore What – Celebrity Lehengas in Bollywood Diwali Parties

It's safe to say that Diwali witnessed some of the best festive outfits of 2019. Celebrities redefined the meaning of glamour and grandeur with their carefully curated looks, put together with the help of the industry's best designers and stylists. These celebrity looks have set a precedent for styles for the upcoming wedding season, and we can't wait to recreate these in situations that demand us at our stylish best. There were many statement-making styles; blouses saw a variety of silhouettes that were more modern than the good old choli. There were bandeaus, styles with plunging necklines, some with the retro, puff sleeves, and then there were tops with noodle-straps. We loved how clothes were at the center of attention and not overpowered by accompanying accessories, which, were in abundance, too.

Stunners like Jaqueline Fernandez and Katrina Kaif opted for monotone lehengas with intricate embroidery, while Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani, and Ananya Pandey showed us the power of colours. Also experimenting with pop, bright tones were Pooja Hegde, Diana Penty, and Sonakshi Sinha who managed to turn our heads with not only amazing outfits but also statement jewellery and fresh makeup. When it comes to designers, this year saw great styles from Bollywood's usual favourites - Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, and Falguni and Shane Peacock - and some more from designers like Tamanna Punjabi Kapoor, Vaani Vats, Amit Aggarwal, too.

We know that looking at these wonderful celebrity images periodically via Instagram can be pretty daunting. So, we've decided to decode the best Diwali-party lehengas, which were worn by our favourite faces. Take a look at the ones we are crushing on most!
