Wedding-worthy looks inspired by our favourite reel life women

Regardless of whether your style is really low-key or your wardrobe is a literal manifestation of this year's Met Gala red carpet (camp, duh!),  chances are, you've always looked at a character or two on-screen and found your sartorial match in them. For the purpose of this style edit, we looked at a bevy of our favourite on-screen personas with a fine-tooth comb and decided to draw inspiration from their fictitious closets for zeroing on our own wedding-worthy one.

Here's our pick!

Warning: Major stylespiration ahead!

Column dresses are our ultimate picks for party looks this season. Who better to draw inspiration from than Serena? Wear it as is or accessorize it with dainty jewelry to guarantee a style that’s inimitable.

Fancy shaking a leg in a sari? If not, let Deepika’s look inspire you to do that. Although we’re crushing on her look here, we’re switching out the use of bold colour for pastels, which are big in S/S 19.

If saris are not your calling, don’t worry; we still have a bevy of sangeet looks you can shop from. Check them out!

We’re basing our bridesmaids’ looks by drawing heavily from one of 2018’s trendiest reel-life characters; think elaborate lehengas in pastel hues with exorbitant embroidery.

If you’ve ever wanted to ride the crest of the ‘maximalist’ trend wave now would be the time. Take a look at our favourite pieces, here.
