Trends seen at Oscars 2019 Red Carpet

As the Award season comes to a glorious end for 2019, we are going to miss Show-stopping looks from the red carpets. Oscars has always been THE event for the film fraternity and the stars surely saved their best for the last even though the overall tone was rather demure compared to the recent events. Here's looking at the trends we saw at the Oscars 2019 Red Carpet. All Black - These stars opted for the most classic look and we cannot complain. Allison Janey in a velvet Pamela Rolland plunge neck gown is the quintessential red carpet look - Lady Gaga in a Alexander McQueen is totally pulling off the Audrey Hepburn look from Breakfast at Tiffany's (she is also wearing the same diamond as the yesteryear actress) - and Supermodel Ashley Graham in her custom Zac Posen gown is all the #outfit #goals we live for! White Out! - Looking pristine in all-white ensembles; the ladies shone bright at the Oscars 2019 Red Carpet. Amy Adams in Atelier Versace, Regina King in Oscar de la Renta and Sarah Kate Ellis in August Getty Atelier embellished suit - if perfection had an address, it would be these ladies. Pretty Pinks - These ladies exude feminine charm in pink numbers. Angela Bassett is defying all age barriers in this flawless Reem Arca gown; Kiki Layne in a powder Pink Versace gown is giving us some serious beauty goal while Linda Cardenelli is a vision in pink in the high low ruffle Schiaparelli gown. Silver Linings -  Ladies take notes. This is how you do the shimmery hue without looking tacky. Amandla Stenberg sizzled in the Miu Miu chain embellished gown while Michelle Yeoh took to the fairy-tale look in this Elie Saab number. Not sure about the neck ruffles but otherwise Awkwafina slayed in this Dsquared2 sheeny suit! Gender Benders - The Stars never fail to bring drama to the red carpet and that is exactly what Billy Porter did by opting for a tuxedo gown by Christian Siriano. Chadwick Boseman looked macho as ever in this radical outfit by Givenchy. On the other hand, the ladies - Amy Poehler in Limited Edition Alberta Ferretti Suit and Elsie Fisher in Thom Borne Suit - made it clear that you can always Suit up no matter what. Power Couples -  This might not be a fashion trend per say. But what better accessory than your stunning Beau by your side.  The gentlemen looked no less bedazing than the lovely ladies. Bradley Cooper looked Dapper in Tom Ford suit while Irina looked her flawless self in the black gown accented by a chain gold waist belt. Alex Rodriguez was a perfect gentlemen in his white blazer, also by Tom Ford, along side JLo who dazzled in this mirror embellished gown by Tom Ford. Paying homage to late Karl Lagerfeild, Jason Mamoa and wife Lisa Bonnet twinned in custom Fendi outfits. Extra points for Jason for sporting a dusty pink velvet suit. Keep it Simple - Safest red carpet trend would be this right here. Keeping it simple is the key to a flawless look. Jennifer Hudson in Elie Saab, Charlize Theron in Cior and Tina Fey in Vare Vang - all the divas looked magnificent at the Oscars 2019 red Carpet. Dapper in Velvet - The men looked no less mesmerizing. The major trend spotted at The Oscars 2019 Red Carpet was Velvet. Chris Evans in Salvatore Ferragamo, Micheal B Jordan in Tom Ford and Stephan James in custom Etro - all of them had us swooning with their looks. Nicholas Hoult in Dior is our new #Mancrush!
