The recent wedding of Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra has taken over our social media channels. The bride and the groom had a traditional fairytale wedding against a grand backdrop in Suryagarh, Jaisalmer. For her wedding, Kiara Advani had tethered traditional rituals with classic beauty choices. The bride chose a delicate lehenga with ivory and pink champagne undertones, designed by Manish Malhotra and the groom opted for a sherwani adored with gold zardozi embroidery. Kiara’s muted makeup and minimal mehendi exuded contemporary choices, and the floral up do and red bindi detail were a nod to Indian bridal culture.

The Shershaah star took the theme a step further for her star-studded Mumbai reception by enhancing her features and topping it off with glowy, dewy makeup to match her cocktail monochrome gown.

The Bollywood actor Mouni Roy married longtime partner Suraj Nambiar in a small ceremony in Goa, a tropical state, in January 2022. Roy and Nambiar honoured both of their backgrounds and finalized the union. On January 27, 2022, the bride arrived at the mandap with her entourage of 11 bridesmaids, including those who were all wearing the traditional Kerala kasavu saris for the occasion. The upcoming bride shone in a red and white Garad silk sari, a timeless outfit completed with traditional temple gold jewellery. The groom, dressed in a light gold kurta set, matched his bride.

Mouni Roy who hails from West Bengal’s Cooch Behar, the duo also wed in a Bengali ceremony. The bride also visited Kolkata-based designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her bridal attire, a stunning crimson lehenga, as a reference to her ethnic background.
