Taking to Instagram to share this delightful news, the couple has been on a spree to share their scenic wedding on the app. The couple rewrote their destiny on February 21, 2023, amidst friends and family in an intimate wedding. The three-day-long nuptials featured a host of ceremonies and pre-wedding festivities, and the images give us major FOMO.
A Fairytale Story Comes True
While the world enclosed itself during the tumultuous times of the Covid lockdown, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s love story had unfurled. From being neighbors and sharing mutual friends, the two grew close and confirmed their relationship in 2021. And since the couple has made several appearances on Instagram and social occasions.
Rakul and Jackky got married in Goa over three days. The couple chose ITC Grand Goa as the wedding venue, and the stunning images showcase the couple made the perfect choice. The picturesque property is lodged between the blissful landscapes of Goa and became the scenic backdrop for their intimate nuptials.
Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani’s Pre-Wedding Merriment
The power pair’s Haldi celebrations were full of fun and frolic! The ‘Cutputtli’ actress shared vibrant pictures from her haldi ceremony, looking as jolly as ever. Dressed in a Papa Don’t Preach lehenga, Rakul emits a bohemian radiance in a heavily embellished lehenga choli. The signature glass beading found its place on the choli, while the lehenga is adorned with jungle print. Meanwhile, Jackky was sporting a mint green chanderi kurta from Shantnu & Nikhil.
Keeping up with the minimalist bride aesthetic, Rakul’s outfit for her Mehendi was a treat to the eyes! Reviving the traditional phulkari embroidery, the radiant orange and pink coordinated set is crafted with love from Arpita Mehta. The attire features pleasing mirrorwork and floral embroidery, but the highlight remains the mesmeric floor-touching cape. Also, Kunal Rawal dresses up Jackky in a hot pink jacket featuring a contrasting tan back that matches the bride’s outfit! A couple designing for a couple, super thoughtful!

A discerning highlight of the jovial bride was her choice of footwear. Choosing to wear comfortable sneakers over the traditional counterparts is the style statement we want to see more of! Rakul opted for customized sneakers from Papa Don't Preach to go along with her Haldi outfit. She even chose Sneakers by Anaar for her pre-wedding and post-wedding festivities! What can we say? She’s a sneaker bride through and through!

The couple’s idyllic wedding is oh-so-romantic! Featuring in the celeb-favorite ivories and pastel pinks of Tarun Tahiliani, the couple looks mesmeric against the waves and the setting sun of Goa.
Rakulpreet Singh's hand-embroidered Tarun Tahiliani lehenga features 3D botanical motifs that come alive in glistening ivory and pink hues. Embracing full-length tulle sleeves in sheer with pearls and crystals looked pleasant to the eye. We saw a long, long veil embellished with flowers and Swarovski crystals. The engraved flowers are a living metaphor for the endless blessings that surround her.
The groom who waited for his bride against the sun, wore an Ivory chikankari Tarun Tahiliani Sherwani. The elaborative piece featured a ‘chinar’ motif, which the seasoned designer brought to life through handcrafting and ancient chikankari techniques with silk threads. The sherwani also features intricate floral motifs by incorporating authentic aari and zardozi embroideries that gleamed in the golden hour. The iconic Tarun Tahiliani pleated stole is also featured for the dashing groom’s resplendent attire.
