Quarantine Fashion Is A Thing. Here’s Proof!

It feels like day 1435678 of the lockdown, and if you're anything like us you've spent the last 1435677 days wearing nothing but comfy PJs and sweats. The stay-at-home blues are beginning to feel real and now we're running out of things to do, too. But it's crucial to remember that feeling blue is a feeling after all and can be replaced with good feelings a.k.a fashion therapy. Quarantine fashion is very much real and is the newest trend to keep the lockdown induced weariness woes at bay. Fashion is a form of strong language. It can set the feel-good tone for your day, make your WFH con-calls look good, will help you get through the day, and can be very empowering in these challenging times too.

If you are looking for some motivation to dress up check out these bloggers who are making the most of the lockdown in style. From dishing out style advice to entertaining us fashionably, they are keeping it fashionably sane in this lockdown.

Masoom Minawala

She's as fashionable as she's witty. We're glad that we are getting to see more of Masoom Minawala's humorous side in this lockdown. Her quarantine fashion videos which feature her dressed up even to do basic chores are extremely relatable (we feel those struggles too) yet high on fashion with a spin of humour. They also inspire us to get ready even to visit the window or the wall.

Komal Pandey

In this current situation, not only are we deprived of a day at shopping at the mall but who even knows what are the fashion trends anymore? And if anything we fear that we have almost skipped a season. Relax and breathe because none of that is true. Never has anyone spruced up quarantine fashion this way before. One look at her page will have you reaching out for your dressy clothes and experimenting with new looks. Even her video series and quarantine challenge #FashionTherapyWithKomal will bring out your inner hidden stylist, guaranteed. We also love how she is keeping it relatable by doling out styling advice too for those quarantine date nights.

House Of Misu

Our favourite fashion duo Mi and Su have nowhere to go, just like us, and are yet keeping it very fashionable even for their mundane chores. Whether it is reading a book in quarantine or even cooking they are not only well dressed but even accessorized to the T. Their looks which are laid-back and chic inspire us to get fashionably dressed and complete it with accessorizing for those never ending WFH con-calls.

Aashna Shroff

Fashion is her best friend for the good days and the bad days. And one look at her page will also re-affirm that. Even in these challenging and unmotivating times, Aashna Shroff leans on fashion to get her through the day. Her relatable AF feed, which features glimpses of her daily life in the lockdown, mirrors our current problems, is sassy, and has lots of power-packed looks you will want to don to put a good spin on your bad day.

Aayushi Bangur

When was the last time you styled your hair? After dressing up, grooming too seems to have gone for a toss with motivation levels on an all-time low. Remember, it's all about looking great to feeling great and empowered. Aayushi Bangur's IG post on hairstyling in the lockdown will have you, too, reaching out for the curling iron, just like it did for us.

Sejal Kumar

If there's a blogger who can even make quarantine look chic, it is Sejal Kumar. She dons a lot of athleisure like most of us and pulls it off with a lot of oomph something that we aspire to do. And not just that, she is wearing summer dresses and printed rompers in the quarantine (which are befitting given its summer) that has also inspired us to start dressing according to the season.

Diipa Khosla

Apart from a savagely stylish wardrobe, Diipa Khosla's quarantine fashion also includes glossy hair with big curls. And she takes it up by a notch with her quarantine no-makeup, makeup to complete her OOTD look. Who wants to take it up a notch for those WFH calls now? We do, we do!
