When everyone’s beloved Dimple from Netflix’s series Mismatched decided to get married to her real-life Rishi, we all gasped and were left in awe.
Prajakta Koli tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Vrishank Khanal in an intimate affair at Oleander Farms, Karjat. After 12 long years of waiting, the pair got married in front of their family, friends, and nature, while being officiated by a female pandit. How cool is that!
The two-day destination affair kicked off on 24th February with an intimate poolside mehendi celebration. With minimalistic kurta sets, both the bride and groom chose to be comfortable, to be dancing in joy with their loved ones. Keeping it simple by elevating her red suit with gold earrings, Koli looked elegant and absolutely happy.
When it came to her wedding trousseau, Prajakta chose to start with a head-to-toe Anita Dongre look. Donning a gorgeous emerald green ankle-length lehenga and blouse set, the bride-to-be looked like a reincarnated Indian barbie. Intricately hand embroidered by female artisans of the SEWA foundation, the outfit was especially custom-made for the social activist. The nature inspired embroidery elevated with gold toned borders, seamlessly merged traditional designs with modern aesthetics. Khanal complemented Koli in a custom olive Nehru jacket from the same designer.
It was followed by the haldi ceremony, which was set in the backyard of the farmhouse, overlooking the lake. The serene backdrop was kept up with equally graceful outfits by the couple. Prajakta looked her best in a beautiful ivory sharara set by Roze India. To complete the look, she paired her attire with gold & pearl beaded dangler earrings and jewellery set along with jasmine embedded kaleeras. While Vrishank matched his bride in an ivory kurta set.

The content creator, being her quintessential self, chose to celebrate her sangeet in an outfit that paid homage to her roots. In her mother’s orange paithani saree, the Jug Jug Jeeyo star looked every bit of graceful. To lift the look, she wore a gold jewellery set with emerald green hints, glass green bangles and a gajra (floral hair accessory) to finish it off. Her groom-to-be wore a black bandhgala and accessoried it with an ivory pocket square and gold brooch.
For the big day, Prajakta Koli chose to be an Anita Dongre bride. Wearing a custom gold lehenga set she looked radiant as she walked down the aisle. Her lehenga skirt beautifully showcased botanical embroidery including one of the Parijit flower (nighttime jasmine) that is synonymous with her own name! Also featuring Pichwai pantings and pockets, the bride completed the look with two embellished dupattas and jewellery from the same label. On the other hand, Vrishank donned an ivory sherwani to go with the gold lehenga.
All in all, Prajakta Koli’s wedding made us rebelieve in love in the most beautiful manner. Wishing the couple a lifetime of health and happiness!
