Pant-Suits > Dresses Is a Trend We’re Taking to the Fashion Week

The buzz around this year's fashion weeks are in full frenzy. Sure, we see our favourite bloggers in the prettiest of dresses and skirt-sets (remember Natasha Luthra in the blue SVA skirt paired with a white shirt?), but nothing can beat the versatility of pant-suits. This commanding outfit is all you need to keep everyone fixated on your outfit. If you are over feminine silhouettes and looking for some change, then,  androgynous fashion is here to your rescue.

Read on to know more about pant-suit trends, that are celebrity-inspired (of course) and can wear to attend the best shows, or even otherwise.

Trend-Setting Plaids

Deepika Padukone, Sobhita Dhulipala

We have been obsessing over vintage plaids ever since we were born (the 90's, we aren't THAT old). Throw on some gingham checks with plaid patterns and you have our attention.

Military-Inspired Jackets

Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan

We have always had a fantasy about joining the army (or maybe it's the army officials), so these jackets fulfill our desire to feel like one. These smart add-ons are the perfect way to enhance your outfit.

Crop Blazers...

Jacqueline Fernandez, Katrina Kaif

The world went into a frenzy when crop-tops were further reduced to bandeaus, but no one saw THIS coming. These crop-jackets is the change that we have been wanting all along.

...or Crop Pants

Sonam Kapoor, Ananya Panday

Just as we didn't anticipate crop-jackets, we definitely didn't expect formal pant-suits to have shorts. They look the same, they are still work-appropriate ( ish) but, shorts!

Peppy One-Shoulders

Kirara Ali Advani, Kareena Kapoor Khan

With Kareena Kapoor Khan as our inspiration, we are ready to put on even a gunny sack ( though we doubt we will be able to pull it off like her). Looking at her, we know that one-shoulders are primarily for aesthetics, hence, mission accomplished.

Going OTT With White

Janhvi Kapoor, Tara Sutaria

All-white everything is a thing for sure. This pristine colour does not look over-bearing when we are dipped head-to-toe in the achrome. Plus, it's the most summer-worthy colour, so, point made.

Pink Satin Suits...

Priyanka Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandez

Super feminine pink satin is not restricted to pyjamas anymore (although pop culture has reduced it to just night-wear). We are just glad that we can finally wear them as pant-suits. Pastel pinks just make everything cheerful, don't you agree?

...Or Any Other Satin Suits

Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra

If you aren't the biggest fan of pink ( raising my own hand sheepishly), then go for any other hue when it comes to satin pant-suits. No restrictions here.

Glamorous Sequins FTW

Rakul Preet Singh, Kirti Kharbanda

Sequins, what can we say about them? They're everywhere. Masterminds like Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi have OD-ed on embellished sarees. So, it's no surprise that we're witnessing them on our favourite outfits.

Pop Colours That We Love

Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra

There's nothing better than pop-colours to cheer up a gloomy day (we all have them).  Get creative with neons or colour-block, we ain't judging.

Cut-Outs For Minimal Skin-Show

Rakul Preet Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan

If you still miss your short dresses that allow wee bit of skin-show, these ones are for you. The perfect cut-outs play peek-a-boo with midriffs, making it a part of our lust-list.

Earn Your Stripes

Kangana Ranaut, Athiya Shetty

The most formal-yet-favoured trend of 'em all, stripes are surely here to stay. After all, you have to earn your stripes on your way to glory.

The Winner - A Three-Piece Pant-Suit

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor, the real fashionista, showed us how to rock pant-suits with this blue three-piece set. Attend the evening shows in this outfit, especially with the bow-tie.

Which among these pant-suits is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below.
