Bollywood Celebrity-Spotting on the Ramps of Lakme Fashion Week

This year's Lakmé Fashion Week was a glamorous affair; thanks to the presence of Bollywood showstoppers  who set the stage ablaze with other-worldly outfits. Ranging from dramatic trails, ethnic head-gears and statement blouses, these celebs inspire us (as always) to sway in the direction of modern trends.

Here are our favourite Bollywood showstoppers that we witnessed on the runways of LFW, that are equally responsible as the designer to set sartorial benchmarks and other-worldly trends.

Kareena Kapoor-Khan for Amit Aggarwal

Keyhole necklines are surely going to make a comeback post this pink and yellow lehenga set with body-fit kali by Mrunalini Rao. It surely accentuates Athiya Shetty's tall frame, don't you think?

Ileana D'Cruz for Mrunalini Rao

Ileana D'Cruz for Mrunalini Rao

We were surprised to see two showstopper looks in Mrunalini Rao's collection, but as we always say, the more the merrier. This wine coloured embellished lehenga set worn by Ileana D'Cruz is definitely for a non-conformist, biker-rock bride, and who better than Mrunalini Rao to state unusual bridal rules?

Diana Penty for Shivan and Narresh

We are adding this olive green flap lehenga set by Shivan and Narresh worn by Diana Penty to our 'must-have contemporary lehengas' list that is clearly inspired by thorns. Don't miss the touch-me-not blouse.

Janhvi Kapoor for Rahul Mishra

What we are taking away from this collection is the fabulous head gear that complemented Amyra Dastur's printed red lehenga by Rajdeep Ranawat. Maybe it's time to rethink hair accessories for wedding festivities?

Sunny Leone for Swapnil Shinde

Swapnil Shinde brought the quirk back with this Cinderella-printed T-shirt dress that was paired with puffy tiered black boots. While we are not used to Sunny Leone wear outfits like these , she did seem to carry it well.
