Sonam captioned her recent Instagram picture, 'Subtlety is not one of my virtues'. Evidently so, this embroidered white and gold saree with an intricate embellished full-sleeved jacket that she wore to Cannes festival in 2013 is proof of that. She paired it with a stone-studded nose-ring, dramatic wing eye-liner, and wine lips.
Cannes Film Festival - May 2014
While we were only still recovering from the 2013 look, Sonam went ahead and dropped another Anamika Khanna look at Cannes 2014. This time it was a pastel pink pre-draped embellished saree with a cape-blouse, paired with a kundan-pearl choker necklace, a powder pink clutch, and nude make-up.
To think of it, Sonam made a pre-draped saree famous even before it took over Instagram as a trend!
Filmfare Awards - January 2015
Sonam loves her cape-blouses, here's proof. This satin pearl skirt-set with a cape is one of the most non-conforming, contemporary Filmfare looks we have seen. What's more? She paired it with high heels, nude make-up, and traditional temple jewelry (we love those kundan kadas. LOVE).
Bigg Boss Season 9 - November 2015
We were pleasantly surprised to see a dash of colour amongst all the pastels and achrome shades. This emerald green full-sleeved lehenga set, that's OD-ing on embroidery, was sported by Sonam on Bigg Boss S9. We love how she went all-ethnic, pairing a statement kundan necklace with a red lip.
Airport look - May 2016
Can we ever conjure a best-dressed list without talking about Sonam's airport looks? This white dress that she's worn with floral-embroidered, ankle-length, front-open jacket is giving us all sorts of #airportstylegoals. We love how she's accessorized with only a brown sling bag and dainty necklaces.
Anamika Khanna's India Couture Week Show - July 2016
Anamika Khanna and monochromes are synonymous. This pearlescent pre-draped saree with dainty embellished floral motifs is proof (we're taking notes for the next sangeet party that we have to attend). We like how she's paired the outfit with nothing but a barely-there clutch and enamel red jhumkas.
Indian Film Festival of Melbourne - August 2016
Staying put to her love for flamboyance, Sonam wore this heavily embroidered grey jacket-pant set to Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. She paired it with an oxidized choker necklace and red lip, and managed to rock this look with enough aplomb.
64th National Awards - May 2017
To receive her well-deserved National Award for Neerja, the actor chose this crisp pastel green saree with white embroidery and showed us how to rock an ethnic outfit at a formal event the right way. Major points for wearing the saree with kundan jewellery set, a classic watch, and flowers in her hair!
Cannes Film Festival- May 2017
Sonam is a Cannes-constant. Moreover, with Anamika Khanna outfits, of course. This printed yellow boho-chic bralette and pant set with an over-sized red jacket totally swept us off our feet. The social media (and us) were not prepared for this stunning look that was accentuated with statement oxidized jhumkas and a turban.

For Pad Man's promotions, Sonam wore this flowy multi-coloured printed maxi dress with 3/4th sleeved cape-blouse. To top it off, she paired it with chunky gold jewellery from Amrapali.
Her Wedding Reception - May 2018
Along with giving us major #couplegoals, this pair gave us major #outfitgoals on their wedding reception. Sonam wore a sequined copper-grey chevron pattern lehenga set (with a cape, of course) with poker-straight hair, red lips, and statement stone necklaces. From the outfit to the make-up, everything spelled out S-O-N-A-M.
Business of Fashion Gala Dinner - December 2018
Satin ruffles and feathers? So Sonam! She wore this exaggerated dress with a super tribal jacket at the Business of Fashion gala dinner party. It takes courage to pull off such a heavily embellished outfit, that too paired with traditional earrings, black micro-bag, and heels, along with smokey eyes.

If you haven't figured yet that exuberance really is Sonam's style, then, this look will do help you. Sonam wore this quirky fuschia pink lehenga set from Anamika's AK-OK collection to the Ambani wedding, and we must say, it is one of our favourite looks!

For her one of her movie promotions, Sonam wore this ivory blouse-skirt set with a Marsala-hued jacket by Kunal Rawal with this floral-printed skirt by Anamika Khanna. She paired the outfit with dainty stone earrings and brown knee-length boots.
Fashion Trust Arabia Awards - March 2019
This all-pink jacket-saree set with delicate floral embroidery and sequins proved to be a look that most of us were not expecting. This jacket - with the longest lapel we'd seen in a while - was the high-point of this look, along with the statement mathapatti and earring combo.
Priya Singh's Haldi Ceremony - May 2019
Sonam is an epitome of all things unconventional. While one would hunt for bright, peppy colours for a haldi ceremony, she took a pastel route for the same. This floral sage green, pastel pink and orange lehenga set with a cape surely had us wanting to break the stereotypes of wedding outfits. We love the beaded necklace set with chandbaalis in pastel tones.

We conclude this list with Anamika Khanna's signature style. Oodles of multi-coloured resham floral embroidery on the border of a stark-white saree. To glam it up, we witnessed a multi-coloured jacket with thread and mirror work, along with tassels and pom-poms. She paired it with a silver oxidized choker necklace, earrings, and kadas. In short, it was an eccentric bohemian look.
