The fabric is unique for three reasons — it’s luxurious, has a unique sheer quality, and is also the only Indian fabric that shimmers because the glue from the raw yarn is not removed when making it. For those who want to wear a lehenga for an upcoming occasion but don’t like the idea of a heavy-duty outfit, we bring to you - the chanderi lehenga. Making a strong case for pastel hues, Tara Sutaria looked ravishing in this pink embellished lehenga by Punit Balana which featured over all buttis and was matched perfectly with an embroidered choli. Even the elaborate latkans and the glossy dupatta caught our attention. (Just wondering if they caught yours, too? ) We love how she kept it glam all the way, with soft wavy curls and statement earrings. Just what the lehenga needed. Ananya Pandey, too, made a minimal yet maximal statement when she wore this lehenga by Abhinav Mishra to a wedding.
