If your designs could speak, what would they say?
If my designs could speak, they would tell the story of heritage meeting contemporary elegance. Each piece is a celebration of craftsmanship, culture, and individuality, blending traditional techniques with modern aesthetics. They speak of confidence, timelessness, and a deep respect for detail—crafted not just to be worn but to empower the man who wears them.
What are the signature elements in your designs?
The signature elements in my designs are the intricate hand-embroidery, bespoke tailoring, and the seamless fusion of traditional Indian techniques with modern silhouettes. My pieces often feature subtle, luxurious details—whether it’s a hint of zardozi, delicate threadwork, or unique fabric combinations—that elevate each garment. I design with a balance of sophistication and versatility, allowing my clients to make a bold yet timeless statement.
Which celebrity or personality do you dream of dressing?
Vicky Kaushal,Ranveer Singh,Shahid Kapoor,Ayushmann Khurrana,Which collection are you most proud of, and why?
The collection I am most proud of is Reflection, our latest menswear collection. It represents a bold exploration of identity and self-expression, blending modern silhouettes with traditional Indian craftsmanship. Each piece in Reflection is designed to tell a story, embodying confidence and individuality while honoring the beauty of detailed, artisanal work. This collection resonates deeply with me because it captures the essence of today’s man—bold, timeless, and unafraid to stand out while staying rooted in his heritage. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the way each garment speaks to both tradition and modernity make Reflection a collection close to my heart.
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
My inspiration comes from a blend of heritage, nature, and the evolving spirit of modern India. I draw heavily from traditional Indian craftsmanship, intricate textiles, and the rich cultural history that surrounds us. At the same time, I find inspiration in contemporary art, architecture, and personal experiences, which influence the modern silhouettes and bold designs in my collections. Whether it’s the patterns in nature, the energy of city life, or a vintage heirloom, I’m constantly seeking new ways to blend the old with the new, creating pieces that are timeless yet progressive.
Which designer in the world inspires you?
I am deeply inspired by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. His mastery in blending traditional craftsmanship with modern luxury speaks to me on a personal level. I admire how he elevates Indian textiles and artistry, creating timeless pieces that are both rooted in heritage and relevant to contemporary fashion. His attention to detail, love for storytelling through design, and commitment to preserving India’s cultural essence inspire me to approach my own work with the same passion and dedication.
Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.
"There was a defining moment during the creation of my collection Reflection. I was working on a piece that was inspired by traditional Indian textiles, but something wasn’t quite right—it felt too predictable, too safe. I was in my studio late at night, surrounded by sketches, fabric swatches, and embroidery samples, trying to figure out what was missing. That’s when it struck me—the need to push the boundaries, to mix bold, contemporary cuts with the intricacies of traditional craftsmanship. I started experimenting with an unexpected combination of fabrics, blending delicate zardozi with sleek, minimalist silhouettes. When the final garment came together, it was unlike anything I had envisioned initially—it was a true fusion of the old and the new, a reflection of my design philosophy. That moment was pivotal in shaping my creative direction, helping me realize that innovation comes when you step out of your comfort zone. It taught me to trust my instincts, embrace experimentation, and find harmony between tradition and modernity. That experience has influenced how I approach every collection since."
