If your designs could speak, what would they say?
"Our designs would narrate the journey from the initial spark of inspiration to the final creation. They would reflect on distant childhood memories, visions of the future, or the intricacies of the human psyche that shape each piece. They would express the love and effort invested in crafting every garment, highlighting how the wearer's individuality is central to our custom design approach."
What are the signature elements in your designs?
"Abstract, Modern, and approach of maximalism in minimalism embellishment technique. It is about the cohesiveness of artwork, embellishment technique, Construction and contours that flatter the wearer. Emotional resonance is a key aspect of our design philosophy. Our pre-draped and stitched saree gowns, appreciated by clients globally, exemplify this ethos by offering ease of wear and the freedom to engage in any occasion fully."
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
I am fascinated by the laws and parameters of nature that govern the growth of diverse flora, fauna, and landscapes. I am particularly intrigued by the impact of the multitude and patterns in nature, including fractals, the golden spiral, and the Fibonacci series. Additionally, the works of impressionist artists, with their exploration of light, color, and emotional expression, have a significant influence on my designs. I enjoy delving into the human psyche and emotions to inspire the cross-pollination of ideas and collaborative dialogues.
Which designer in the world inspires you?
I am inspired by the work of Elsa Schiaparelli, particularly her collaborations with surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. The innovative and thought-provoking designs they created together continue to captivate me. Additionally, I admire the current creations from the House of Schiaparelli under the creative direction of Daniel Roseberry. His application of surreal elements in contemporary fashion is something I eagerly anticipate and find inspiring.
