Which collection are you most proud of, and why?

I’m most proud of my Inara collection. This collection beautifully captures the essence of elegance and sophistication, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design elements. Each piece in Inara reflects a deep connection to cultural heritage while offering a fresh, contemporary appeal. The intricate details and thoughtful design process behind Inara make it a standout, representing the perfect harmony between tradition and innovation.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

I find inspiration for my designs in a variety of places, from the rich textures and colors of nature to the intricate patterns of traditional crafts. Travel plays a significant role in sparking my creativity, as I draw from the diverse cultures, architecture, and art I encounter. I’m also inspired by the stories and emotions of the people I design for, aiming to create pieces that resonate with their individuality. Ultimately, my designs are a reflection of both the world around me and the personal connections I cherish.

Which designer in the world inspires you?

As a menswear designer, I’m particularly inspired by Tom Ford. His impeccable sense of style and ability to redefine modern masculinity in fashion have had a profound influence on my work. Ford’s attention to detail, his mastery of tailoring, and his bold yet sophisticated approach to menswear are qualities I deeply admire. He has a unique way of blending classic elegance with contemporary edge, which inspires me to push boundaries while maintaining timeless appeal in my own designs.

Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.

One of the most memorable "aha" moments in my design career happened when I was experimenting with fabric combinations for a new collection. I decided to pair a traditional wool suiting material with an unexpected, lightweight technical fabric. Initially, it seemed like an unconventional match, but when I saw the final piece, everything clicked. The blend of classic structure with modern versatility created a look that was both innovative and wearable. That moment taught me the power of taking risks and trusting my instincts, and it continues to influence my approach to menswear design today.
